 Established
in 1959, Tubac Golf Resort spans over four hundred lush, green acres
of the Santa Cruz Valley, surrounded by the Santa Rita and Tumacacori
Mountain Ranges. At an elevation of 3,300 feet, temperatures remain
arid and mild throughout most of the year. Our proximity to Tucson
offers those guests arriving by air a forty-minute, traffic free
drive from the airport.
The Red Lawrence designed eighteen hole, 6893 yard, par 71, championship
golf course was built in 1959 by a group of Arizona business men
and the late, great Bing Crosby. It’s known throughout the state
as one of the last traditional courses in a world of target golf.
Featured in the Warner Bros. Film "Tin Cup," ancient trees, mountain
ranges and the Santa Cruz River combine for a relaxing round, no
matter what the score.
