Arizona National Golf Club offers desert golf at its finest. Designed by Robert Trent Jones Jr. in 1996, the golf course is nestled in the foothills of the beautiful Santa Catalina Mountains and abutting the Coronado National Forest.
A desert-style course of championship length (7,170 yards), with generous fairways and large (average size 7,000 square feet) bent-grass greens, the Palmer Course features from four to six tee boxes on every hole, challenging all levels of golfing skill.
Nick Faldo, winner of three Masters and three British opens, says that this course is not reminiscent of other Arizona layouts, saying that he wants his courses to have rhythm and flow, with more bark than bite.
Home to one of the strongest collegiate golf programs in the country, the ASU Karsten Golf Course is a classic Pete Dye, links-style championship course set in the shadows of ASU’s Sun Devil Stadium.
