Christopher Smith has called Tucson home since 1972, making him a near-lifelong resident of the community he serves today.
Military Service & Honors
Chris proudly served in the United States Navy from 1990 to 1994, where he distinguished himself as a member of the EA-6B VAQ-137 Squadron attached to CV-66 USS America Aircraft Carrier. His service included significant deployments during:
Operation Desert Storm (1991, USS Midway)
Operation Fiery Vigil (Philippines) – Assisted in the evacuation of Clark Air Force Base following the Mount Pinatubo eruption
