Sewailo, meaning “Flower world” in the Pascua Yaqui language, blends the native landscape of Tucson with picturesque lakes and streams. This challenging course measures 7,400 yards from the championship tees, with 5 different tee boxes on each hole to allow for players of all abilities. It’s a Tucson golf experience you’ll never forget.
When it came time for the Pascua Yaqui Tribe to design their own Tucson golf course, they knew they wanted a unique creation. One that would work within the land and honor its natural gifts and wonders. The Tribe hired fellow Native American, Notah Begay III, a Navajo who has made his name both as a player on the PGA Tour and as a commentator on NBC and The Golf Channel. Along with Ty Butler, Begay responded with the amazing Sewailo, or “Land Where Flowers Grow”, in the native Yaqui language. Blending the natural Sonoran Desert landscape of Tucson with picturesque lakes and streams, Sewailo measures over 7,400 yards from the championship tees, with five different tee boxes on each hole to allow for players of all abilities. It is universally recognized as one of the top golf experiences in Arizona, public or private, and is home to the University of Arizona Men’s & Women’s golf teams.

Awesome golf course in southwest Tucson! Tee boxes, fairways and greens all in excellent condition! Bunkers we're good and the rough is dormant and shaved down making the course super fast... Greens were running about 10..

We drove down from Phoenix to play Sewailo and we weren't disappointed. I can't say enough positive things about Sewailo Golf Club! The course conditions were pristine. Fairways were flawless and the Bent grass greens were smooth and rolled true. The layout is challenging but fair, especially with 7 different tee options including several combo tees. Scenic setting a very well landscaped and manicured track. A must play in the Tucson area.

Top 5 course I've every played - plenty of challenge but not over the top. Absolutely beautiful course, great green fee price and great staff. They even have a overly cart friendly road runner. I would play weekly if i lived in the area.
