Nestled against the dramatic backdrop of Tucson, Arizona’s beautiful Santa Catalina foothills are two incredible golf courses in Ventana Canyon, the Ventana Canyon Mountain, and Canyon Courses. Both courses were designed by Tom Fazio and have won Golf Magazine’s Gold Medal Award and Links Magazine’s Best of Golf Award. As the Mountain Course climbs up the Santa Catalina foothills, the Canyon Course takes a different route. The front nine winds down through the inspiring beauty of Esperero Canyon. Visit during monsoon season and you are sure to experience the excitement of water rushing through the desert washes. As you turn to the back nine, look for the iconic Whaleback Rock. With generous fairways and picturesque views throughout, you’ll always remember your day out on this award-winning course. The Canyon course is played on odd days. We will arrange your times accordingly….leave it to us!
Why odd days? Ventana is a semi-private golf club, so one course is reserved for the membership each day and the other is reserved for our guests and resort guests staying at The Lodge and Loews Resort. Play one of Fazio’s first and best designs at Ventana Canyon!

Tucked away into the Catalina foothills, and just steps away from the emerald tees, fairways and greens sits The Lodge, a quiet sanctuary with 50 private, spacious suites.
Voted Best Resort
Across the 600-acre desert preserve, you’ll find two 18-hole championship courses – tee boxes surrounded by mountain views, fairways with regional flora and fauna and putting greens that glimmer against the dunes behind them.
Swimming Pools
The property features two separate resort pools for all your aquatic needs, from fitness to free swim to family fun. A snack bar with a friendly poolside server to assist you and a room service menu is available on the pool deck

Omg..such a relaxing and gorgeous place to just get away. Great scenery, 2 pools ( 1 family, 1 lap pool) game tables, ground chest game, basketball net for shooting hoops, fuse table.. great service and amenities at pool. I can go on and on... I love this place.

I was not disappointed I looked forward on golfing here for a long time.the staff all were very kind an answered any questions I had before I teed off .the course itself is very challengingly but fair.the greens an fairways were impeccable I may of shot 20 over par but I had a real good time with my buddies not to mention the mountains view were breathtaking I give this course a 5 star for just for relaxed laid atomsphere it had to offer
